Easy New England Clam Chowder(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter
    1 (10 oz.) can clams
    2 (10 oz.) cans New England style clam chowder
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of potato soup
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Place onion and butter in 4-quart casserole.
    Cook on High for 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Season with salt and pepper as desired.
    Cook on High for 15 minutes or until heated through.
    Stir 1 or 2 times during cooking.
