Mom'S Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix everything.
    Makes 2 dozen cupcakes or 1 loaf cake.
    Bake cupcakes at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Bake loaf at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
