Chocolate Chip Chilled Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake, baked
    1 pt. whipping cream, whipped
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, separated
    2 c. (12 oz.) chocolate chips
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Melt chocolate chips in double boiler; add egg yolks and mix well.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar and vanilla.
    Add nuts and fold in whipped cream.
    Break cake into pieces.
    Put 1/2 of cake pieces in 9 X 13 pan and pour 1/2 of chocolate mixture over.
    Put remainder of cake pieces
    on top, then remainder of chocolate mixture.
    Chill 6 to 8 hours.
    Serves 12 to 15.
