Frozen Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (3 oz.) pkg. jello (any flavor; I use apricot)
    4 c. boiling water
    4 c. sugar
    4 c. water
    2 c. lemon juice
    2 cans pineapple juice (46 oz.)
    2 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Combine sugar and cold water and bring to a boil.
    Add sugar mixture to jello mix.
    Add lemon juice and pineapple juice.
    Put in containers and freeze.
    Bring out of freezer 3 hours before time to use.
    Place in punch bowl and pour ginger ale in and stir.
    Serve.
