Mary'S Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hash browns
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 sticks margarine
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    16 oz. sour cream
    1 (16 oz.) Cheez Whiz
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cover bottom of casserole dish (9 x 13 x 2-inch) with 2 pounds of hash browns.
    Sprinkle with small chopped onions.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Melt 2 sticks margarine and pour over potatoes (saving some for top).
    Heat and mix 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup, 16 ounce sour cream and 1 (16 ounce) Cheez Whiz. Pour on potatoes.
    Mix remaining margarine with 2 cups crushed corn flakes.
    Spread on top of casserole.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
