Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    1 can Pet milk
    bananas
    1 tsp. vanilla
    vanilla wafers
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Over medium heat, combine sugar and egg yolks.
    Gradually add Pet milk.
    Cook until thickened.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Cool slightly. Layer wafers in a dish.
    Layer bananas.
    Pour 1/2 of filling over layers.
    Repeat layering of wafers and bananas.
    Pour remaining filling over layers.
    Top with wafers.
    Spread Cool Whip over wafers.
