Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pastry shell (9-inch)
    4 eggs
    1/3 c. light brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 1/4 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large mixing bowl, beat eggs and brown sugar together until blended.
    Add melted butter or margarine, corn syrup, salt, vanilla and chopped pecans and mix thoroughly; pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake until filling is puffed and golden brown, about 35 to 40 minutes.
    Serve pie slightly warm or cool and top with whipped cream.
    Makes one 9-inch pie.
