Okra Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. whole okra, thawed
    3 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 medium onion
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped tomato or 1 can stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender, stirring constantly.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Okra can be cut up if you prefer and onion can be sliced into half rings.
