Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 thinly sliced tart apples
1 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
whipped cream or ice cream
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Place thinly sliced apples in a bowl. Add 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and lemon juice.
Mix lightly and pour into a buttered 9-inch pan.
Blend remaining sugar, flour, salt and butter to a crumbly consistency.
Add the nuts and blend.
Sprinkle over the apples.
Bake 45 minutes or until crust is brown.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Makes 6 servings.
