Light 'N' Luscious Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/4 c. Argo cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. water
1 whole egg
1 egg white
1/3 c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
3 Tbsp. corn oil
Raspberry Sauce (recipe in cookbook is for this cake)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spray a 9-inch square or round baking pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
In a medium bowl with a wire whisk or fork, stir water, egg, egg white, corn syrup and corn oil.
Gradually stir into dry ingredients until smooth.
