Chicken And Brown Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 chicken breasts (skinless)
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 can beef consomme
    1 c. rice
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 can golden mushroom soup
Preparation
    Wash chicken; pat dry.
    Saute rice in frying pan in 2 tablespoons of butter just until brown, along with the pepper and onion.
    Place in baking dish.
    Add consomme; mix.
    Place chicken breasts on top.
    Cover with can of golden mushroom soup. Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour, until chicken is done and rice is tender.
    Yields 4 servings.
