Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. white cornmeal
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Stir meal into rapidly boiling milk.
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly; don't scorch.
    Remove from heat and allow to cool.
    Add well beaten eggs, salt, baking powder and butter; beat with electric mixer for 15 minutes.
    You might be tempted to cut this step short, but don't; this is really a souffle and it won't rise as well.
    Pour into well greased casserole.
    Bake 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
