Tex-Mex Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 (1.25 oz.) envelope taco seasoning mix (2 Tbsp.)
    1/2 (15 to 16 oz.) jar salsa
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. tortilla or corn chips (about 18)
    1/4 c. grated Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
    1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation
    Soak sweetbreads in salt water for half an hour.
    Boil until well done, then remove skins and small pipes and cut into small pieces.
