Cornbread Pielets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    dash of salt
    1 (16 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
    chopped green onions (optional)
Preparation
    Heat grease in deep fryer.
    Add enough milk to remaining ingredients to blend.
    Using a tablespoon (depending on the size you want), drop mixture into hot grease.
    Be careful not to splash hot grease.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels. Makes about 2 dozen.
