Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded and water free
    1/2 c. celery, diced
    1/2 c. green bell pepper, diced
    1/2 c. onion, diced
    4 sliced hard-boiled eggs
    1 small pkg. frozen green peas, cooked and cooled
    1 pt. mayonnaise, beaten until creamy (no substitutes)
    6 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    10 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Use a deep glass serving bowl.
    Each ingredient will be 1 layer.
    The bottom layer will be the first ingredient. Refrigerate for 8 hours before serving.
