Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 large eggs, beaten
    8 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell, chilled
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    In
    a bowl, thoroughly combine the sugar, flour and eggs.
    Add the melted butter and buttermilk and stir until well mixed.
    Stir in the vanilla.
    Pour the filling into the chilled pie shell and bake for 10 minutes.
    Without opening the oven door, lower the temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake for 35 minutes more.
    It is important to keep the oven door closed. Transfer the pie to a wire rack to cool to room temperature.
    Cut into wedges.
