Mexican Pinto - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried pintos
    1 piece of fat back, or a ham bone
    1 5 oz. can Hot and Spicy V-8 Juice
    1 onion sliced
    3 or 4 sliced jalapeno peppers
    Salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a crock pot and fill with water. Cook until tender.
