Buttery Almond Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (no substitutes)
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 c. chopped almonds
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, cream butter and confectioners sugar.
    Add flour and vanilla; mix well.
    Stir in almonds.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 13 to 16 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown and cookies are set.
    Cool for 1 to 2 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
    Roll in confectioners sugar.
    Makes 4 dozen.
