Tomatoes With Basil(Pomodori Al Basilico) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large fresh tomatoes (firm)
    1/4 c. olive oil
    salt and pepper to taste
    10 fresh basil leaves
Preparation
    Cut washed tomatoes into 1/4-inch slices.
    Arrange on a large platter, slightly
    overlapping.
    Drizzle
    oil
    on top of tomatoes and sprinkle
    with
    salt
    and pepper.
    Chop basil and place on top of
    tomatoes.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
    Great with Italian bread, if desired.
