Cream Cheese Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened at room temperature
    1 stick margarine, softened at room temperature
    1 box powdered sugar, sifted
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Cream together the cream cheese and margarine. Beat in powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and stir in pecans. Frost between layers, sides and top of cooled cake.
