Fruit Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1 c. lemon juice
    2 c. orange juice
    1 c. strong tea
    2 c. pineapple juice
    1 jar cherries and juice
Preparation
    Add half of sugar-water mixture to last 5 ingredients.
    Add ice water to make 2 gallons.
    Add rest of sugar-water mixture to get desired sweetness.
