Beef Italiano - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 to 4 lb. rump roast
    1 c. sliced onion
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    2 cans tomato soup
    1/2 c. water (add more if you prefer)
    generous dash of pepper
    potatoes
    carrots
Preparation
    Trim fat from roast; place in roasting pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour (no lid!).
    Spoon off fat; add onion and cook for 30 minutes.
    Combine garlic powder, Italian seasoning, tomato soup and water; pour over meat.
    Cover and bake for 1 more hour.
    Add potatoes and carrots.
    Bake 1 more hour.
