Door County Appetizer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. ground pork sausage
    1 lb. Velveeta, diced
    2 tsp. oregano or more
    dry onion (optional)
Preparation
    Brown beef and pork.
    Add oregano and cheese.
    Stir over low heat until melted.
    Spread over cocktail rye slices.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 to 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until bubbly.
