Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. fig preserves
1 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. each: cloves, vanilla and soda
3 eggs
Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients.
Add cooking oil.
Beat well.
Add eggs, one at a time, alternating with milk.
Add figs and vanilla. Bake at 350\u00b0 in a Bundt pan for about 1 hour.
Grease and flour pan.
