Chicken Fried Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. beef round steak
1 beaten egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 c. finely crushed saltine crackers
1/4 c. cooking oil
Preparation

Pound steak to 1/4-inch.
Cut into pieces.
Stir together egg and milk; combine cracker crumbs, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Dip meat into egg mixture, then in cracker crumbs.
In skillet, brown meat in hot oil, turning once.
Cover and cook over low heat for 45 to 60 minutes or until tender.
