Lemon Sponge Pie(In Memory Of Betty Marie Covington) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

Juice and rind of one lemon
2 Tbsp. butter
1 C. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
3 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 C. milk
Pastry for 9-inch pie (with no holes)
Preparation

Cream butter, add sugar and egg yolks.
Beat well.
Add flour, salt, lemon juice, grated rind, and milk.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and pour into unbaked pie shell.
