Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light molasses
5 Tbsp. butter, melted
2/3 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
whipped topping
Preparation

Combine egg, sugar, molasses, butter and water; mix well.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, ginger and salt.
Add molasses mixture.
Beat until well mixed.
Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking pan or loaf pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
Serve warm with whipped topping.
Makes 9 servings.
