Whole Wheat Raisin Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. golden raisins
    1 c. regular raisins
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    3 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Pour the 2 cups boiling water over raisins, sugar and butter. Let stand while preparing other ingredients.
    Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; add to raisin mixture.
    Add eggs, nuts and vanilla; beat well.
    Pour into greased and floured loaf pans (2 large or 4 small ones).
    Bake large loaves for 1 hour or small ones for 50 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Bread may be frozen and used later.
