White Cream Sauce De George - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 to 2 Tbsp. flour
    salt
    pepper
    approximately 12 to 16 oz. half and half
Preparation
    Over low-medium heat, melt butter.
    Add flour, stirring continuously until mixed.
    Add small amount of half and half (about 4 ounces); mix until smooth.
    When this starts to thicken, add other 4 ounces half and half.
    When this starts to thicken, add another 4 ounces half and half.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Set aside. Do not get too thick, but thick.
