Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk, scalded
    2 c. old bread
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and pour into a 2-quart casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until knife inserted into middle comes out clean.
    Place dish in a pan of water while baking as you would any custard.
