Apple Tapioca Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 apples, peeled and sliced
    1/2 c. tapioca
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Combine water and lemon juice.
    Pour over apples in greased shallow baking dish.
    Cover and bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until apples are partly cooked.
    Mix together tapioca, sugar, salt and nutmeg.
    Sprinkle over apples, mixing thoroughly.
    Add butter.
    Continue baking 10 minutes.
    Stir well and bake 5 minutes longer.
    Serve hot or cold with cream (optional).
