Strawberry Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    whipping cream
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. sugar
    whipping cream
Preparation
    Thaw berries.
    Berries must be crushed.
    Combine cornstarch and sugar.
    Mix with berries.
    Cook over low heat until clear and thick.
    When cool, pour into shell.
    Just before serving, cover with whipping cream.
