Strawberry Refrigerator Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. lemon juice (1 1/2 to 2 lemons)
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1 c. sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen)
    2 egg whites, beaten until stiff
    24 vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Slowly add lemon juice to sweetened condensed milk; stir until thick.
    Add sliced strawberries and beaten egg whites.
    Line bottom of 1-quart glass dish with vanilla wafers.
    Cover with strawberry mixture.
    Alternate with wafers and strawberry mixture until mixture is used.
    Put a layer of wafers on top.
    Chill for 6 hours or longer.
    Serves 8.
