Fried Green Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 to 12 medium green onions, chopped
    4 to 6 slices bacon
    2 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch or enough to thicken
    1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook bacon in skillet, remove bacon and add green onions, cook 2 or 3 minutes.
    Dissolve cornstarch in milk and add to onion mixture.
    Cook until thick and season to taste.
    This is excellent with cornbread.
