Sweet And Sour Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops (3/4-inch thick)
    salt and pepper
    1 can pineapple chunks
    1/3 c. Heinz 57 sauce
    1 green pepper, cut in strips
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in shortening; drain off excess fat.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Pour over pork chops.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
    Add green pepper; cover and simmer another 15 to 20 minutes.
    Serves 4.
