Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed pretzels
    1 stick butter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. boiling water
    2 small or 1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sweetened strawberries, softened
Preparation
    Melt butter in a long rectangular dish (Pyrex).
    Add crushed pretzels and 2 tablespoons sugar.
    Mix and spread evenly.
    Bake 10 minutes at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned.
    Set aside to cool thoroughly.
    Whip softened cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar until fluffy.
    Add vanilla and whipped topping, mixing well.
    Spread over cooled pretzel crust.
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water; add frozen strawberries, separating with fork.
    Spoon this over cream cheese mixture.
    Chill for several hours until firm.
    Serve in squares.
