Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    2 c. chopped broccoli
    2 c. chopped ham
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 medium chopped potato
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. whole dried basil
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk or half and half
Preparation
    Combine first 11 ingredients in Dutch oven.
    Bring to boil. Reduce heat, simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Blend all of mixture (1/3 at a time) in electric blender for 20 seconds. Repeat until all ingredients are blended.
    Pour back into Dutch oven.
    Stir in milk and simmer 20 minutes.
