Coconut-Chocolate Meringue Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, divided
    3 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
    1 c. flaked coconut
    3/4 c. coasely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar, 1/2 c. brown sugar, egg yolks and vanilla in large mixing bowl; beat until thoroughly blended.
