Ingredients

1/2 c. melted oleo
1/4 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. lemon extract

When I baked, after the first rising and the loaves had been formed, I reserved enough of the dough for several \"muffins.\"
I then fried these in a small amount of oil.
Delicious served with brown beans and ham, etc.
