Raisin Filled Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 sticks butter
dash of salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda dissolved in 1 Tbsp. hot water
5 c. plain flour
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. raisins
2 c. cold water
dash of salt
6 Tbsp. sifted flour
Preparation

Mix 2 cups brown sugar, butter, eggs, salt, vanilla, soda in hot water and flour together to make dough.
May need more flour to work with.
Chill dough thoroughly.
Mix together in saucepan 2 cups brown sugar, raisins, water, salt and flour.
Cook until thick.
Cool.
Roll dough thin.
Cut in three inch rounds.
Place on greased baking sheet, put a rounded teaspoon of filling in center.
Place another piece of dough on top.
Press to seal edges. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
