Ingredients

9-inch unbaked pie shell
1/2 c. Borden butter
2 c. sugar
3 rounded Tbsp. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. Borden buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of nutmeg (optional)
Preparation

Have butter soft.
Add sugar.
Cream together well.
Add flour and eggs; beat well.
Stir in buttermilk, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0. Place on wire rack to cool completely before serving.
