Jubilee Jumboes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. soft shortening
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. undiluted evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted Gold Medal sifted flour (measured lightly)
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. cut up dates
1 c. cut up maraschino cherries
Preparation

Mix thoroughly shortening, sugars and eggs.
Stir in evaporated milk and vanilla.
Sift together flour, soda and salt and stir in mixture.
Add nuts, dates and cherries.
Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet and cook about 12 minutes at 357\u00b0.
