Lazy Daisy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put milk and butter in top of double boiler to heat.
    Beat eggs until light and fluffy; add sugar and beat vigorously.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Stir into egg mixture and add vanilla.
    Add hot milk mixture stirring constantly.
    Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Combine icing ingredients and spread on warm cake and return to oven until frosting caramelizes but not long enough to dry it out.
