Fried Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small onion, chopped (1/4 c.)
2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 c. cooked rice
1 can (8 1/2 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced
1 can (4 oz.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
3 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Cook and stir onion and green pepper in oil in 10-inch skillet until onion is tender, about 3 minutes.
Stir in rice, water chestnuts, mushrooms and soy sauce. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently 5 to 7 minutes.
Stir in eggs; cook and stir until eggs are done, 4 to 5 minutes longer.
Yields 4 to 5 servings.
