Butterballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar and salt together; work in butter and vanilla.
    Add nuts; mix well.
    Shape into 1/2-inch balls.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in moderate oven, 350\u00b0, for about 40 minutes.
    Remove from oven and roll cookies in powdered sugar while warm.
    Expensive, but delicious and keeps well.
