Homemade Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. fat
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. water
    1 (15 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 small can chopped chilies
    2 (15 oz.) cans pinto beans
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Brown onion, green pepper and celery in fat.
    Add hamburger; cook until done. Add seasonings.
    Add tomato sauce, water, tomatoes, green chilies and beans.
    Simmer 2 hours.
    Serves 10 to 12.
