Porcupine Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. raw rice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    3 Tbsp. chopped onion
    6 Tbsp. tomato paste or juice
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Mix together first 7 ingredients.
    Shape into balls and arrange in saucepan or deep skillet.
    Combine soup, water and a little tomato paste.
    Mix and pour over meat balls.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Serve with mashed potatoes, macaroni or noodles.
    Serves 6.
