Candied Fruit Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. chopped candied cherries
1/2 c. chopped candied pineapple
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Cream butter
and
sugar,
beat
in
egg.
Stir
in dry ingredients.
Blend in
nuts and fruits.
Form into 1 1/2 inch logs.
Roll and
wrap in Saran or cling wrap.
Freeze and when ready to bake
cookies, slice thin and bake 8 to 10 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven.\tA delicious Christmas cookie.
