Southern Party Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 carton sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup or celery soup
    1 small jar Cheez Whiz or 2 c. grated cheese
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Defrost potatoes.
    Combine butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pour over potatoes into a 3-quart casserole.
    Mix 1/4 cup butter and corn flakes.
    Sprinkle over top.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 16.
