Caramel Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. Rice Chex
    3 c. Corn Chex
    3 c. Crispix Chex
    3 c. Cheerios
    3 c. broken pretzels
    2 c. mixed nuts or pecans
    2 c. light brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. white Karo syrup
Preparation
    Mix cereals, pretzels and nuts in large container.
    Bring margarine, syrup and sugar to a boil.
    Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add salt first, then soda.
    Will foam.
    Pour over mix.
    Stir with wooden spoon until coated.
    Bake on cookie sheet for 1 hour at 200\u00b0.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Store in closed container.
